This week, ~The-Greys (creator of the Enderbro comic/blog) was on a minecraft server I'm an admin on. And, uhm. Major fan girl moment. I was squeeing all over the place, but the sad thing is: the squeeing I DID do was not half as intense as what was going on in my head.
I hope we can still have a 3-way bro-fest with `Trapiki after this cheesiness.
...I'm still fangirling hard right now. But don't tell anyone.
DAWW! Dude I love this! And I love the calendar you're doing! Pixel art is my favorite~ It was so great to meet you guys. I'm working obsessively on an adventure map right now, but I gotta tear myself away from it so we can hang out again!
Thank you very, very much. That means a lot coming from you. c: I started pixeling Waldon, but he was waaay too big, so I made grass.
Which map are you working on? I friggin' LOVE the Curse of the Pumpkin Prince, but I do not know if they fixed it for 1.2. (There were a lot of doors that could be torn down by zombies or opened by villagers, which messed up some of the redstone as parts of the plot involved pressure plates. I tried to play it on the snapshots, but that wasn't fixed yet. )
I'm trying to make one, but I guess it's less of an "adventure" map and more of a "freeform RPG" map. Like you can build freely and play at your leisure, but there's a main quest and a bazillion sidequests sprinkled in to complete just for shits 'n giggles. Here's a small part of it that I just completed: [link]
Seems interesting thusfar! The builds look very neat and pretty, especially with the texture pack you're using (the view from the top, where the stairs lead down into a hole, looks really cool). If/when you release it, I'd love to play it! I'm sure it will be EPIC.
I'm not good at building period. But I'm getting better with time. Much better than Waldon now. Your builds don't look HUGE AND GIGANTIC AND FWOOSH, but they ARE very neat and clean and pretty looking, just on a smaller scale.
